Speaking good Hindi

Wonderful words from my mouth today.

I was having mouth ulcer from a few days. I wasn’t able to eat anything but feeling better now. I went to the school today, came back and was sitting on the sofa watching my videos on our new Apple TV, when suddenly mamma asked, How are you Aana to which I responded saying “Haalat Kharaab hai” and mom and dad were ROFLing badly.

Momma asked who taught me this and I said ma’am. Frankly, it is not ma’am but I learned the way things are spoken at home. Haalat and Kharaab are very common words in the society too but listening it from my mouth made them laugh out loud.

I’m loving it 🙂
