Intelligent me

Today I found a hair rubber in the garden, I picked it up, went to the watchman uncle and asked him to keep it so that he can return it to the owner.

Dad was sitting in the garden and was seeing me, shouted on me that why had I gone outside the garden. I came back and explained to him in a very gentle voice “Papa, kisi ka hair rubber garden mein rahe gaya tha, usko dene gaya tha uncle ko”. And he was smiling.

How intelligent I am!! I am just a 3.5 years old and I behave like a 15 year old girl 🙂 🙂

Can you match my intelligence ??

Speaking good Hindi

Wonderful words from my mouth today.

I was having mouth ulcer from a few days. I wasn’t able to eat anything but feeling better now. I went to the school today, came back and was sitting on the sofa watching my videos on our new Apple TV, when suddenly mamma asked, How are you Aana to which I responded saying “Haalat Kharaab hai” and mom and dad were ROFLing badly.

Momma asked who taught me this and I said ma’am. Frankly, it is not ma’am but I learned the way things are spoken at home. Haalat and Kharaab are very common words in the society too but listening it from my mouth made them laugh out loud.

I’m loving it 🙂

Hard slap from dad

Not a good day indeed 🙁

School started couple of weeks back (12th June 2014) and I am still not getting used to it. I cried a lot in the morning.

School nahi jana, Papa, mujhe school nahi jana, mujhe tomorrow school nahi jana, mujhe afternoon mein school nahi jana etc. are what I keep saying.

I give a very hard time to dad in wearing the school dress. Dad brought the dress last week only but yesterday was the first day I wore it.

Today also, I was not wearing it and dad gave me a very tight slap which imprinted 3 of his fingers on my face. I cried a lot but went to school afterwards.

I am always okay in the school after 15 minutes or so and extremely settled in an hour but not sure why I am not liking going to school. When I come out, I am as happy as I always am.

Instructions to dad

It was a normal night where dad was watching his late night debate on TV while the mom was inside, when something suddenly stuck me and I ran to dad, switched off the TV and instructed him to stand up, do brush and go to bed.

Utho, brush karo, ninnu karo” is exactly what I said. Dad’s face, when I said all this, was to be seen. He couldn’t revolt but followed the instructions with peace. Thank god 🙂

I am going to do this for some days till the time he develops a habit of sleeping early and getting up early.

Mom blames all my bad habits to him and takes credit of all the good ones. She is right 90% of the times 🙂

Ma’am shushu aayi hai

Since last couple of weeks, beginning 2nd Dec 2013, I have started going to school without diapers. This is an achievement in itself as I myself was tired of those untidy & heavy diapers. Good for mom and dad too as there would be more savings 🙂

Although I have been telling mom & dad about it for some time now, but for first 3 days in school, I did not tell ma’am or mausi about it but after that dad made me remember it in a different way. You can view me doing that here.

Dad ensures to remind it to me on our way to school in the morning by asking me about it again and again. And see what, now I have started telling not only shushu but also potty. You may feel nothing special about it but dad and mom are loving it and me too.

I don’t wear diapers at night too since we are back from Delhi. Everything is so good.

Pigeon hatho, Aana School.. bolyaaaa ..

Yesterday, in the morning while going to school I saw few pigeons in front of gate and I immediately shouted “Pigeon hatho, Aana School .. bolyaaaa …” (Pigeon move away, this is Aanya’s school … told him)

It was funny because of “bolyaaaa“. Dad laughed out really loud.

And since yesterday, I have been saying my heart out to living and non-living things and telling mom or dad that I told them by shouting “bolyaa” .. papa bolyaa … mamma bolyaa …

Every time I listen to airplane, I ask it to wait .. e.g. “Airoplane wait, Aana milku .. bolyaa”, “Airoplane wait, Aana foodu .. bolyaa” etc.

I’m loving it really. Mom and dad are loving it too 🙂

A life changer deed

You may laugh, but this is definitely a life changer deed, for me less, for mom & dad more.

Let me share what it is!!

I have actually started telling mamma and papa, when I feel like peeing. That means I am no longer peeing in my pants. This is awesome. I am growing and loving the time. I am around 2 years 5 months and everyone says, this is the right time and guess what, I am on TIME 🙂

I ask mom to take me to toilet by saying “mamma toilet”, as easy as it could be.

Mom and dad are very happy as they don’t have to clean me every time 🙂 🙂

You should thank me mom and dad.

Mom is teaching me well

Yes, Mom is indeed teaching me well.

Today was a Carnival in my school and we all went there. And you know what my teacher told to mamma? She told that my mom is working really hard on me and teaching me really well. Also that I already know different shapes, different colors and all that. I know page of the book which is being taught in the class as if I have already read that book as home.

It’s only me who remembers name of everyone in the class.

Went to school after couple of sick leaves

Had to take 2 sick leaves due to me down with fever. It all started on Saturday when I started coughing. Dad thought I would get better but it worsen the next day. I developed a high fever the very next day, Sunday.

I had to be on medication and antibiotics since then.

Could not go to school on Monday and Tuesday but felt good today after going to school. Even though I was not well completely but dad thought it would be good if I go to school else I would be cheeky at home, screaming for each and everything.

Cried foul while going inside but was happy within seconds. Mom also came to drop me.

My normal day these days

Let me share my usual “dincharya” these days.

I get up at 8AM after so much of push and pull from mom and dad. National Geographic channel is ON on TV. While watching enumia, konan, deers, crocodiles, tigers etc, dad makes me drink luke-warm water.

Then I brush my teeth. Dad help me quickly take a bath. I dress up for school and again sit in front of TV watching 2-2 animals. Mom has already packed my lunch and water bottle by then. My school bag is also ready.

I give a very hard time to dad for drinking the milk. After some 10-15 minutes, I say bye bye to mom, aunty & Swati didi and dad and me leave for school.

My school timings are from 9AM to 11:30AM.

I love my teachers

Yes, I study in Little Millenium school, Viman Nagar in the Developing Roots class (they have this name for Playgroup).

I really love my teachers a lot.

You know what happened today? I am reluctant to go to school from last couple of days and so I was today. I kept asking dad for mom on the way to school. I was not going inside after we reached. I had almost started crying but as soon as I saw my teachers I was like happy “Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”,  smiling and ran inside towards them instantly.

Dad was astonished to see me do that but happy too as I went inside without much of huuhaahaaa.

Frooti for Ronit

Today, while going to school,  dad told me that mom has kept two Frooties in my lunch box, one for me and one for Aarushi dee. I listened to it carefully, waited for a while, thought something and said “Ronit?” …

Dad was like, who this Ronit is … but he got it soon that he is my class mate and a good friend and later he said that mom has kept 3 Frooties, one for me, another one for Aarushi dee and 3rd one for Ronit.

That’s good dad !! I am happy 🙂

Konan & Enumia

I am sure, you can’t imagine what these words stand for !! Except mom & dad, no one can ever know what I actually mean when I say Konan or Enumia.

One day when mom was teaching me alphabets, she said “L for Lion” and I repeated “Konan” with no similarities at all. So when I say “Konan” it means Lion.

Okay, now you have got what Konan is, can you now guess what does Enumia mean ??

If you have got it, please reply and I would really appreciate your intelligence but let me share that too in case you haven’t got it yet.

“E for Elephant” but for me it is “Enumia“, again with no similarities in the words at all.

HAHAHAHAHA !!

Isn’t it funny, mom says Elephant, I say Enumia and when she says Lion, I say Konan. A good laugh for mom and dad indeed 🙂 🙂 🙂

Aanya is very active in the class. She keeps on roaming around in the class, respond to what we are doing and expecting from kids. She is the only one to have remembered few names of her classmates. She calls a boy "baby" when he cries. Aanya has a very caring nature towards everyone. She knows different fruits, vegetables names etc.

She is an extremely good student overall.

Suddenly, my life has changed

Believe me, my life has been changed after 8th Apr 2013. Today is the 11th day and I am enjoying it now.

What has changed??

I stopped, actually I have been stopped, relying on “buuji“. What is buuji??  I am not gonna share it here but if you know what it used to be for me than you would have definitely got an idea what I am taking about. I initially used to call it “Bua” then shorten it to “Buu” and finally gave it the needed respect by calling it “Buuji” or “Buu-ji“.

It all started on 8th eve, when dad suddenly thought of me getting rid of buuji dependency as it was not only restricting me to eat other stuffs but also weakening mom (I heard it does, not sure).

It was very difficult for first couple of days but later I started to develop different eating habits.

Not liking going to school

I am not feeling good at all in going to school again. Dadi, dadu, Bua, Nonu bhai, Noni dee and everyone else left for Delhi and I am missing them badly. I don’t feel like going to school. It has been two weeks since I went to the school properly and I have forgotten everyone, literally, including my favorite Nihan teacher.

Dad took me to the school today and I started crying as soon as I saw my school. Dad forcefully took me out of the car to the school gate. Nihan teacher took me inside while I was crying and screaming badly. Dad was roaming around outside waiting for me to settle down.

While I was screaming, I also vomited and then teacher asked dad to take me back as there was no alternate dress for me. I know you know why !!

Aanya isn't scared of anyone in the school. Be it a play class friend, nursery or KG class seniors, Aanya doesn't leave anyone. She hits anyone and everyone without fearing the consequences.

Aanya, you don't hit anyone from tomorrow else we will not allow you to go with papa. Okay ??

Second day at school

A very different second day from the first day of my school.

Dad accompanied me to school but left me at the gate and vanished straight away. I kept looking for him but he was completely out of my sight (he later mentioned that he was just outside the school).

Initially, I was reluctant inside but got used to everything pretty soon. Teachers and maushi aunties, all are good. Most of the time I was playing outside but also went inside the class for a while to listen to the rhymes. Did not eat anything at the lunch time though.

First day at school

The day finally arrived, today was my first day at school.

Mom & dad, after grilling various schools, decided Kider Brook at Viman Nagar to be my first school.

Got up at 8:30, the school was to start at 9:30 am. Dad brought bread and jam for me and mom prepared my lunch and packed my bag with lunch and water bottle. We could not have left before 10 am as mom and dad were also coming with me on my first day.

Lost 1 kg in 1 month

I had 13.6 kg in the beginning of last month but within a month I have lost 1 kg.

After weighing on 2nd Nov last month at Dr. Sabnis’s clinic, we went to Delhi, to Sammed Shikharji from their and now after coming back to Pune when we went to see Dr. Udavant on 3rd Dec (I was having bad cough & cold), I was weighing 13.1 kg.

Mom & dad are on mission since then. Not making me eat forcefully and I am mad about not eating anything at all. Trust me, when we went to see Dr. Udavant again yesterday (7th Dec), I was weighing 12.6 kg i.e. lost 1/2 kg in just 4 days.

WOWWW !!! That’s the power of not eating anything 🙂

My Shikharji yatra story

Wow!! I was waiting for this time.

My first Shikharji yatra and that too when I am only 1 and half years. Thanks dad for making it happen. I was so scared when everyone was planning to leave me at Madhuban with Dadi, dadu and Anvi dee but dad was courageous enough to hire a doli and planned to take me for the holy darshan. Thanks dad for making it happen.

I am so happy today.

We left at around 2AM and managed to start for the yatra at around 3AM. Took 1 hour looking for the doli dad hired a night before but later hired another one on the spot.

Doli ride was good. Mansi dee was holding me in the doli while I was sleeping.

We reached the first tonk at around 7AM where mom and dad made me ate something. I was awake by that time. Then dad held me in his hands and I walked for some time too and visited all tonks nearby. It was awesome weather atop.
